WALK150 is a neighborhood-based walking club sponsored by LivingWell Supportive Communities Inc to facilitate noncompetitive fitness activities, preventive healthcare education and social engagement for individuals of all ages and fitness levels, especially at-risk populations and individuals living with chronic illnesses. WALK150 clubs are co-governed by LivingWell and community boards comprised of individuals and health professionals that reside or work in the neighborhood (“Community Wellness Councils”), responsible for program oversite and community outreach.
